What We Believe
We believe in God as our eternal, all-powerful, all-knowing and always present Creator and Sustainer. We know Him as Father, Son and Holy Spirit - Three in One. The truth we know about God and His kingdom comes to us through the Bible, God's holy word. It is our infallible guide, interpreted in its own context and under the power of the Holy Spirit.
Salvation for humanity is possible because of the atoning death of Jesus Christ on
the cross. His literal death and physical resurrection paid the price for our sins
and allows us to be born again by the Holy Spirit. Salvation is by God's grace through faith. Baptism by immersion is the reflection of Christ's death and resurrection before
the community of faith.
The church is Christ's bride and vehicle for kingdom work on earth. It is both the union of all born-again believers and local autonomous bodies of believers in assemblies around the world. As Baptist believers, there is no authority over each local church except God Himself. We have an obligation to share the gospel, worship, pray, teach, minister, and encourage believers within the congregation and around the world. We believe that Jesus Christ will return from heaven to the earth and claim His followers, judge the world and reward the faithful. Until that time we are called to be His hands and feet for His glory.
